From Troy Keaton NOAA:
As of all data received by NMFS (data through Jan 30), we show 7.7 million pounds has been harvested with approximately 3.7 million remaining. Catch rates have been fluctuating and expected weather this week may slow down catch rates. Average daily catch was around 250k so based on that we have a VERY rough projection of a closure date of between Feb 10 and Feb 14. Caveat: These data and daily rates are expected to change and we are too far out from a closure to give a precise closure date.
