ANCHORAGE, ALASKA, JULY 3, 2009: Ethan Berkowitz commented today on the prospects for positive change in Alaska when current Lt. Governor Sean Parnell takes over for Governor Sarah Palin later this month.

“First and foremost, I would like to congratulate Sean Parnell and wish the Governor and her family the very best,” Berkowitz said. “Alaska is the greatest state in the nation, but we are also a state in need of a new vision and new ideas. I’m not alone in questioning whether Sean Parnell can provide that strong leadership.”

“Alaskans need a forceful, effective voice in the Governor’s office. As I’ve said for the last few months, I am seriously considering a run for Governor. I am talking it over with my family and community leaders across Alaska before taking the next step.”
