Carpenter’s Training Opportunity

The Anchorage Carpenters Local 1281 has available federal stimulus scholarships for a one-time pre-apprenticeship training program for qualified Alaska natives. The training is from July 6th to July 17th here in Anchorage with the top 50% of graduate given a free pass into the Carpenters’ Apprenticeship Program in April. In addition to free tuition each student will be given a full set of tools valued at $400.00.
TO QUALIFY APPLICANTS MUST:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a CIB card/proof of Indian Blood
- Alaska Resident for 1+ years
- Driver’s License preferred
- High School Graduate preferred
