Position: Executive Director
General Description: This executive level position, under the general supervision of the President and the Tribal Council, is responsible for the administration of the short and long range goals for the QT Tribe as established by the 7 member Tribal Council.
Examples of Work: Organizes and manages the operation of the tribal government. In conjunction with the Tribal Council, formulates and establishes overall tribal policies, priorities, perspectives and philosophies.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Must have demonstrated leadership and management skill and retain a high level of the knowledge of the principles, technique, and application of management including, organization, planning, staffing, training, budgeting and reporting.
Education & Experience: Bachelors Degree or Equivalent. Demonstrated knowledge in accounting, budgeting, and grant management required. Demonstrated successful grant writing for non-profit required. Familiarity with Alaska Native Cultures and traditions, particularly those specific to Aleuts and the Tribe preferred. Minimum 2 yrs. experience with Native Village Governments preferred and minimum 2 yrs. business management experience required.
Licenses & Special Requirements A valid AKDL. Drug test required prior to beginning work.
Salary: Negotiable DOE

Job Description: The Environmental Assistant works under the supervision of the Coordinator and is responsible for assisting them in meeting the goals and objectives of the IGAP which is funded by a grant from the EPA. The Assistant will be aiding in the completion of the work plan included in the IGAP grant, as well as working on various tasks assigned by the coordinator and/or Executive Director.
