The discussion covers the prospect of domestic violence legislation based on the University of Alaska Anchorage Justice Center’s recent domestic violence report to the legislature; Senator Hoffman’s reaction to legislation offered by Governor Sean Parnell to reduce the state’s oil and gas production tax and increase investment credits; and Senator Hoffman’s thoughts about the need for legislation to clarify state election law in the wake of the 2010 Alaska US Senate race. Senator Hoffman is co-chairman of the state senate finance committee.
