January 8, 2010 Meet the People with State Representative Harry Crawford
Kells Hetherington interviews Alaska State Representative Harry Crawford (D-Anchorage) about legislation that Crawford is co-sponsoring with State Senator Hollis French (D-Anchorage). The proposed bill would allow Alaskans to vote on a state constitutional amendment to protect the state’s Permanent Fund Dividend. The Alaska Permanent Fund has paid an annual dividend since 1980. Crawford is also campaigning for the 2010 Democratic nomination in the Alaska US House race. French is campaigning for the 2010 Alaska Democratic Party’s gubernatorial nomination.
