Kells Hetherington hosts doctor of medicine Peter Lipsky on Meet the People for a discussion concerning what appears to be an increased prevalence of lupus among minority populations. Dr. Lipsky is internationally recognized for his research in B-cell biology in normal and autoimmune disease settings, T cell-macrophage interactions, mechanisms of immune cell activation, and the development of novel therapeutics for rheumatoid arthritis and lupus.  Dr. Lipsky currently sits on the Lupus Research Institute’s Scientific Advisory Board.
