From the Office of the General Manager
March 9, 2009
Dear Listener:
The annual membership drive is underway and its success requires the generous support of people just like you.
In 2009, individuals join for twenty dollars, families for fifty and now businesses may join too. The price of a business membership is one hundred dollars.
By joining KSDP as a member, you make a big difference. Your contribution helps the station maintain local programming, as well as, a successful array of community efforts. Members vote and run for the station’s governing Board of Directors. This spring, three seats are up for election.
Joining the station is important, and becoming a member is easy. Fill out the (2009-membership-form) and return it to the radio station. Either mail the form to the station, or hand deliver it to the station’s studios on the first floor of the Sand Point City Building. If you are returning the membership form by mail, please address it to KSDP Radio / 100 Main Street / Sand Point, Alaska 99661.
Since the membership drive last year, the station has done a great deal. The station has proposed an upgrade to its radio service in King Cove, 88.1 FM, broadcast many high school basketball games and successfully competed for grant money. This means, your money will be well spent.
On behalf the Board of Directors, thank you for your generous support in years past and for renewing your membership again this year.
Sincerely yours,
Kells Hetherington
