Kells Hetherington reviews the $3.4 billion settlement in the class action lawsuit of Cobell v. Salazar with attorney Justin Guilder on Meet the People. Thousands of Native Americans are eligible for a share of the settlement if they apply in time. Cobell v. Salazar is the landmark case that concludes over one hundred and twenty years of federal government mismanagement of land and assets held in trust for upwards of five hundred thousand Native Americans.
