We’re assembling a duck orchestra to perform the 1812 Overture by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. BigWave Dave will be conducting the ducks. To listen to the 1812 Overture in person, meet up at the Harbor Bridge in Sand Point at 2pm on October 9th, 2023 *NEW DATE – TUES., OCT. 31ST, 2023*!
Each duck sponsor will be entered into a split the pot raffle, become a supporting member of Aleutian Peninsula Broadcasting AND receive a delightful Duck-shaped AM/FM shower radio – with water thermometer!

To obtain an application for absentee voting, visit the Borough website, Clerk’s Dept or contact the Borough Clerk at 907-383-2699. The last day to request a ballot by mail is September 26, 2023. The last day to request by electronic transmission is October 2, 2023 no later than 12:00 noon and ballot must be returned to the Borough Clerk no later than 8:00 p.m. Election Day.

We are excited to inform you that we will be back in Sand Point this month for a community meeting on Monday, May 15 from 5:30-7:30 pm at the QTT Community Center. Members of the Heliostar team will be present to provide a general update on the project, recent corporate activities, and to discuss future plans for the Unga Project. A Q&A session will follow the presentation.
Similar to past meetings, food will be provided, as well as some fun door prizes. Please see the attached flyer for more details.
