A full team effort, Sand Point excelled playing defense, scoring and pulling down rebounds. The Eagles move on in the winner’s bracket to play one of the top seeded squads – Tanana, at 11AM on March 14!

The Lady Eagles fought hard against a highly rated Tanalian Lady Lynx squad, but as the game wore on Port Alsworth continued to lengthen their lead guaranteeing their chance to play for second against the team who loses in tonight’s championship game. A big shout out to senior Brittany Gardner who wraps up her final season with the Lady Eagles and did an outstanding job leading this Sand Point team in a successful 2019 basketball season!

Sand Point wins another game to give them one more shot at the 2nd place spot, and a trip to State for the 2019 season. New Stuyahok kept it close in the first half, but Sand Point was able to find their groove and advance to play Port Alsworth again in the final game of the ACC Region Tournament at 3:30 Today
