The city of Sand Point is hiring two (2) permanent, full-time positions; as the Water and Wastewater Supervisor as well as the City Finance Officer. Both positions require a valid driver’s license, and are open until filled. For more information, view the documents below for more information.
The Sand Point City Building, as well as all City Departments, will be closed on Monday March 29th, 2021 in observance of Seward’s Day. We will be reopening for regular business on Tuesday March 30th, 2021 at 8:30 am.

EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY:
The City of Sand Point is asking everyone to self isolate upon arrival for a 7-day period and then get tested for COVID-19.
Regular activities may resume upon confirmation of a negative test result. This request does not apply to essential workers or those involved in the commercial fishing industry; State of Alaska health mandates cover those individuals, and relevant information for those workers can be found at covid19.alaska.gov.
The Aleutians East Borough Assembly met for a special meeting on October 20th, 2020 in order to swear in new members as well as re-appropriate Covid related funds.
