World War Two Navy veteran Reuben Burton of Richmond, Virginia talked on Meet the People today about his time in Sand Point.  Burton was one of the Navy Seabees in Co. D of the 43rd Naval Construction Battalion who served in Sand Point in 1943.  The US Navy had a half dozen seaplanes on submarine reconnaissance duty stationed in Sand Point, Alaska.  Click below to listen to the archived interview.
