Sand Point Eagles Continue Winning Streak!

Eagle Boys win three games in a row!

The Eagle boys visited he home of the Birchwood Warriors (just past Eagle River) and walked away with their 7th victory of the season. Matthew Bravo led four Eagles who scored in double figures. Bravo finished with 21 points to go along with 11 rebounds. The two Wilson boys, Jeremiah and Evan, each added 12 points. Alex Gilbert chipped in 10 points, including two 3’s. Maynard Maglaya ( 6 points and 6 steals), Deion Osterback (5 points), Colten Mack ( 4 points and 11 assists) also scored. Jonathan Rotter was slowed down by a tender ankle and saw limited playing time.

The team was encouraged to have several family members and fans from Sand Point in the audience. Birchwood honored our three seniors in a halftime ceremony that also spotlighted the hometown seniors.

The Eagle boys are looking forward to their game with Lumen Christi tonight, at 7:30. The game follows the girls’ contest that begins at 6:00 PM.
